Because podcast is on the rise, it is more difficult to distinguish yourself. With a vodcast – a podcast with images – you can generate extra attention.
There are several options for inserting images. For example as an additional option. Listeners then have the choice to listen audio only, but can also watch the podcast with images on Youtube or similar channels.
For the Plastic Soup Surfer Podcast we only use the image to share (video) promos on social media.
Another option is to make two different versions. A concise edited podcast (audio-only) and an almost unedited audio / video variant for the diehard fans.
